Install kernel devel for running kernel

If your server is currently running with a different version then the one installed on your server, and you need to install specific kernel-devel version to compile modules, you can use the following cmdlet to install the correct kernel devel package

yum install “kernel-devel-uname-r == $(uname -r)”

In my case I needed to update R1Soft Agent with my currently running kernel, that’s a workaround if you get the following error from R1Soft :
Attempting to get a kernel module from ‘krnlbld.r1soft.com’

No binary module was found for your kernel. The kernel headers will be required
to build a module. See ‘/usr/bin/serverbackup-setup –help’ for more information
